THE SITE IS THREE QUARTERS OF A MILE NORTH NORTHWEST OF CANTON, MINNESOTA; LOWER PORTION UPPER MISS BASIN. T101N/R9W/S20. FILLMORE COUNTY. WATER QUALITY SAMPLES WERE COLLECTED BY THE MINNESOTA POLLUTION CONTROL AGENCY FOR AN INTENSIVE SURVEY NEAR CANTON. THE SITE IS DOWNSTREAM OF THE CANTON WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT. WATER QUALITY SAMPLES WERE ALSO COLLECTED AT TWO SPRINGS, STATIONS GWQ0488 AND GWQ0489 IN AGENCY CODE 21MINNG, AS PART OF AN INTENSIVE SURVEY ON WISEL CREEK. MAJOR BASIN NAME: UPPER MISS.
