| MonitoringLocationDescriptionText | Beach located next to the Lake of the Torches Resort & Casino. This beach is not very big but quite popular. Hwy 47 is about 50' from the water's edge. From the road sides, the land slopes towards the beach. Most of the slope is covered with 3-4' herbaceous plants transitioning to lawn grass to the waters edge with a narrow band of sand. There is usually a family of Canada geese at this beach and surrounding area. |
