MonitoringLocationDescriptionText	This site is best accessed starting at the Dahlia Trailhead along the Colorado Front Range Trail/Sand Creek Regional Greenway trail. The trail is located on the southern side of the Dahlia Trailhead parking lot. After parking at the trailhead, one must either reach the destination by bike or walking. Once on the trail, turn right and continue heading northwest along the concrete trail for approximately 1.3 miles. The sampling site is located on the left within Sand Creek, where Suncor’s effluent pipe is present across the river. Sampling occurs just downstream where effluent drains into Sand Creek. This site is located less than 0.5 miles upstream from Sand Creek’s confluence with the South Platte River.
