MonitoringLocationDescriptionText From the junction of Highways 550 and 62 in Ridgway, CO, take Highway 62 west to Ouray County Road 7 (CR7), about 4.8 miles. Turn left (south) on CR7 and follow it to the Blue Lakes trailhead parking area, a little over 7 miles. On foot, take the Blue Lakes trail to Lower Blue Lake. At the point where the trail continuing to Upper Blue Lake crosses the Lower Blue Lake outlet stream, turn left (north) and follow E. Dallas Cr downstream about 400 ft to the River Watch sampling site.
