MonitoringLocationDescriptionText Travel north on Chaffee Cty Rd 175/Fremont Cty Rd 2 ~ 18 miles. Turn right onto Spur after road crosses an intermittent streambed. Follow spur road to parking area. Hike trail up & over 2 large rock formations until you reach a narrow meadow section (about 15 min). The trail will descend and cross the creek. Sampling area is in the meadow section. AWD with good clearance required.
