| MonitoringLocationDescriptionText | Site is accessed via a remote crossing across the Conejos R. from Pike's Stockade (BLM), which is located at the terminus of CR24, about 5.5 miles from Sanford, CO. From the Pike's Stockade parking area, there is an old two track which heads generally to the SW and winds through meadows and cottonwood galleries before crossing the Conejos River where it approaches the spring. Narrow, riffly part of spring adjacent to 2 T-posts on shore. |
