MonitoringLocationDescriptionText Options 1: Park at the corner of Centaur Village Dr and Erin Way (39.979157, -105.110960). Head to the trail access within the culdesac directly to the southeast. When you come to Coal Creek Trail, turn left to head northeast. Continue 420 ft. along the trail and the sampling location is within the creek on your left, just past the riffle/along the bend. Option 2: When heading north on Courtesy Rd, continue straight through the first intersection of Courtesy Rd and Empire Rd Hwy 42. Continue to the next intersection of Courtesy Rd and Pine St/Empire Rd, and turn right to head east on Empire Rd. Continue until reaching. until reaching the Coal Creek Trail (39.9761563221378, -105.11322844086705). Park and head north along the trail and continue across the first and second pedestrian bridges. Once you have crossed the second pedestrian bridge continue approximately 0.3 miles along the trail until reaching 39.97920506, -105.1091951 within the creek.
