MonitoringLocationDescriptionText Directions to Governor Basin site 1031: From the intersection of 6th Avenue and Highway 550 in Ouray, CO, take Highway 550 south through Ouray to Camp Bird Rd (361) about 1/2 mile south of town. Turn right onto 361 and travel about 4.6 miles to the junction with County Road 26 (CR26) at Camp Bird. Stay right on CR26 and continue about 2.2 miles to the junction with the Governor Basin Road. Turn left on the Governor Basin Road and travel about 0.8 mile to where the road crosses the Governor Basin stream. The River Watch site is upstream of the road at the location labeled GB-01 in Figure 1, a site previously sampled by UWP.
