MonitoringLocationDescriptionText This site had been incorrectly named AREQUA GULCH @ MOUTH when the station was created in STORET with information found in the 2000 WQCD Master Site List . The field notes from visits in 1998 and 1999 place the location on Cripple Creek below Arequa Gulch. A set of updated coordinates were created based on the field notes and the sampling times from the original site visits in 1998. Both the sites 7252 and 7256, Arequa Gulch above Cripple Creek, were sampled within a 10 minute span. From this, relative proximity can be inferred and a location just below the Arequa Gulch confluence was chosen.
