| MonitoringLocationDescriptionText | The site was originally identified as the N Branch of Iowa Gulch. It was later identifed as the drainage from the Dyer Amphitheater geologic feature on the west side of Mount Dyer and renamed Dyer Gulch @ Toledo Rd. From Leadville, take Toledo Rd. and turn right. Continue on Toledo Rd., following sign to Mt. Sherman Trailhead. Near the Black Cloud TP, the road will veer left (dirt road). Follow dirt road about 2 miles. Dyer Gulch crosses Toledo Rd. Sample just above culvert. |
