MonitoringLocationDescriptionText From 1997 to 2004, the 5910 site ID was used for samples collected along the North Fork of the South Platte below Geneva Creek. The coordinates, listed in the 2000 draft Master Site List, place the site near the confluence of Geneva Creek near Grant. During the initial 8 years of sampling, the sampling location was progressively moved downstream due to access issues. By November 2003, but possibly earlier, the location for this site coincided with the FY08 sampling location. Aside from the fact that the old and new locations are over a mile apart, there are several potential tributaries and residential developments in that interval that would make these locations distinct. For the FY08 sampling, a new station 5910A was created for the downstream location.
