THE SAMPLE SITE IS THE WELL USED TO SUPPLY DRINKING WATER FOR THE PARK. SAMPLES WERE COLLECTED IN PLASTIC BOTTLES. SAMPLE SIZES VARIED BY LOCATION. CATION SAMPLES WERE USUALLY AT LEAST 250 ML; ANION SAMPLES WERE OFTEN AS SMALL AS 20 ML. CHEMICAL ANALYSIS WAS COMPLETED IN THE DEPT. OF GEOLOGY AND GEOPHYSICS LAB AT THE UNIV. OF MINNESOTA. THE STUDY OBJECTIVE WAS TO SURVEY AND DOCUMENT THE CHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF WATERS ON; AROUND; AND BENEATH THE PARK AND TO DOCUMENT ANY ANTHROPOGENIC WATER QUALITY IMPACTS.
