THE SITE IS THE HISTORICAL WATER SUPPLY FOR THE PARK FROM THE 1930'S. IT IS A LARGE DEVELOPED SPRING WITH AN APPROXIMATELY TWOMILE LONG DISCHARGE PIPE. THE DISCHARGE FLOWS INTO COLD SPRING CREEK. CHEMICAL ANALYSIS WAS COMPLETED BY THE EPA REGION 8 LAB IN DENVER CO.
