MonitoringLocationDescriptionText The station is located on the CHEYENNE NW, OKLAHOMA 1:24000 scale series topographic quadrangle. The site, described as a stream, was retrieved from the online USGS OpenFile Report 97492, 'National Geochemical Database, Reformatted Data from the National Uranium Resource Evaluation (NURE) Hydrogeochemical and Stream Sediment Reconnaissance (HSSR) Program' Version 1.4 (2006). The 'ORNLID' (Oak Ridge Gaseous Diffusion Plant Sample Number also known as the Oak Ridge National Laboratory Sample Number) field entry was used to create the Station Name. According to site comments reported by the field staff and retrieved from the NURE dataset, monitoring was 'taken over a 60m interval going upstream along center starting 97m upstream from bridge, 14m up from w support for old, torn down bridge.'
