SITE 5 IS LOCATED WITHIN VALLEY FORGE NATIONAL HISTORICAL PARK AT THE SCHUYLKILL RIVER UPSTREAM OF LAMB RUN. THE SAMPLE WAS COLLECTED FROM THE STREAM BOTTOM 100 FEET UPSTREAM OF LAMB RUN AND 2 FEET FROM THE LEFT (LOOKING DOWNSTREAM) EDGE OF THE WATER. THE SITE IS ADJACENT TO A HIKING TRAIL. DATA AND LAT/LONG VALUES ARE FROM USGS WATER RESOURCES INVESTIGATIONS REPORT 974120 "METALS; PESTICIDES; AND SEMIVOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS IN SEDIMENT IN VALLEY FORGE NATIONAL HISTORICAL PARK; MONTGOMERY COUNTY; PENNSYLVANIA" (REIF & SLOTO; 1997).
