| MonitoringLocationDescriptionText | Station is located in Tonto National Monument on the Windy Hill AZ 7.5' U.S. Geological Survey topographic quadrangle. Data were collected at this site by William B. Reed of the National Park Service (NPS) Water Resources Division in September 1980 and are on file with that office. This tank is located on National Park Service land at an old grazing boundary fence. This site shall be abandoned for stock watering once the boundary for the park is fenced. The fencing should be completed by the end of 1980. This site may then be completely abandoned or used as a watering site for wildlife until such time as this segment of line needs repair when this site is likely to be abandoned. Water for Cooper Tank is piped from a storage tank near the two developed openings of Cholla Spring #1.
