THE SITE IS WEST OF THE LITTLE MISSOURI RIVER. IT IS NEAR THE HEAD OF AN INTERMITTENT STREAM THAT ORIGINATES WITHIN THE PARK BOUNDARY BUT FLOWS INTO LITTLE WANNAGAN CREEK NORTHWEST OF THE PARK BOUNDARY. THE SEEPS ARE ON A RIDGE THAT TAILS OFF INTO THE PETRIFIED FOREST PLATEAU. THE SITE IS WITHIN A LOOP FORMED BY THE PETRIFIED FOREST LOOP HIKING AND HORSE TRAIL.
