MonitoringLocationDescriptionText SITE IS LOCATED UPSTREAM OF THE LAKE MICHIGAN DRIVE CROSSING OF SHALDA CREEK. HERE THE CHANNEL IS 7 METERS WIDE AND THE MAXIMUM DEPTH IS 0.75 METERS. RIPARIAN VEGETATION SHADES MOST OF THE CHANNEL AND THE SUBSTRATE CONSISTS OF SAND AND GRAVEL. THE SITE WAS USED FOR SAMPLING BEGINNING IN 1994. SITE IS LOCATED ON THE GLEN ARBOR MICHIGAN 7.5 MINUTE SERIES (TOPO) QUADRANGLE. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF SLEEPING BEAR DUNES NATIONAL LAKESHORE P.O.
