THERE IS NO OVERHANGING VEGETATION AND THE STREAM IS OPEN TO DIRECT SUNLIGHT. THE SUBSTRATE IS SAND WITH SOME FINE GRAVEL. THE SITE WAS USED FOR SAMPLING FROM 1990 THROUGH 1993. SITE IS LOCATED ON THE FRANKFORT MICHIGAN 7.5 MINUTE SERIES(TOPOGRAPHIC) QUADRANGLE. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF SLEEPING BEAR DUNES NATIONAL LAKESHORE P.O.
