THE SITE IS LOCATED IN THE CENTER OF LOON LAKE. THIS SAMPLE WAS TAKEN ALONG WITH SAMPLES AT SIX OTHER SITES ALONG THE PLATTE RIVER ON AUGUST 18 1995. THESE SAMPLES PROVIDED A ONETIME SNAPSHOT OF THE PHOSPHOROUS GRADIENT FROM THE PLATTE RIVER M22 CROSSING TO EL DORADO PARK ABOVE LAKE MICHIGAN. SITE IS LOCATED ON THE FRANKFORT MICHIGAN 7.5 MINUTE SERIES(TOPOGRAPHIC) QUADRANGLE. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF SLEEPING BEAR DUNES NATIONAL LAKESHORE P.O.
