WITHIN THE WATERSHED LIME CREEK FLOWS INTO LIME LAKE WHOSE OUTFLOW IS SHETLAND CREEK WHICH FLOWS INTO LITTLE TRAVERSE LAKE WHOSE OUTFLOW IS SHALDA CREEK WHICH THEN FLOWS TO LAKE MICHIGAN. THE SITE IS LOCATED IN THE DEEPEST AREA OF LIME LAKE AND WAS FOUND BY USING BATHYMETRIC MAPS AND SONAR. SITE IS LOCATED ON GOOD HARBOR BAY MICHIGAN 7.5 MINUTE SERIES (TOPO) QUADRANGLE.
