The station is the midpoint of a trawl in Santa Monica Bay approximately 1.1 kilometers west of the north end of the breakwater. The trawl began at 33.96083N, 118.47450W at a depth of 18 meters, traveled northwest for 10 minutes, and ended at 33.96567N, 118.47767W at a depth of 16 meters.
