MonitoringLocationDescriptionText The Pines River shore station (S4, HS2, B3, and P3) was bordered along the upper tidal limit by a narrow strip of salt marsh. Mud comprised the substrate of this gradually sloping shellfish flat. A bed of blue mussels was located at the south end of the site.
