THE SITE IS AT ITALIAN SPRING; LOCAL SPRING NUMBER (D1418)7 DAA. THE SITE IS NEAR THE JUNCTION OF THE NORTH SLOPE TRAIL AND THE ITALIAN RANCH TRAIL. ALL MANMADE STRUCTURES AND IMPROVEMENTS HAVE BEEN REMOVED. THE LATITUDE AND LONGITUDE VALUES WERE OBTAINED BY DIGITIZING THE CENTER OF THE SPRING ON THE PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED 7.5 MINUTE QUADRANGLE. DATA ARE FROM A USGS SPRING SCHEDULE FORM USED BY WILLIAM REED OF THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE TO RECORD 1981 FIELD DATA.
