THE SITE IS LOCATED AT THE FALL RIVER BETWEEN THE ROARING FORK AND THE HIDDEN VALLEY CREEK CONFLUENCE AND IS WITHIN ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK. THE DATA ARE FROM A BASELINE WATER QUALITY STUDY REPORT (OCTOBER 1981) BY LISA BRUINSMA OF COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY; FORT COLLINS CO. BASELINE WATER QUALITY DATA WERE COLLECTED FROM THE BIG THOMPSON AND FALL RIVERS; WHICH ARE HEAVILY USED WATERSHEDS IN THE PARK. THE STUDY WAS CONDUCTED IN ORDER TO ASSESS THE QUALITY OF WATER IN THE TWO WATERSHEDS AND THE NEED FOR FUTURE MONITORING.
