The station is a spring north of Battle Mountain off the North Longs Peak Trail at 11500'. The data originated from a University of Colorado dissertation entitled "Isotopic and Chemical Flowpath Separation of Streamflow During Snowmelt and Hydrogeological Controls of SurfaceWater Chemistry in Six AlpineSubalpine Basins; Rocky Mountain National Park; Colorado" 1996 by Julie K.
