MonitoringLocationDescriptionText THE STATION IS LOCATED ON THE GRAND LAKE CO GRAND 7.5' (TOPO.) SERIES QUAD. THE SITE IS AT THE DOWNSTREAM SAMPLING POINT AT TONAHUTU CREEK AND IS LOCATED IN ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK. WATER QUALITY AND BENTHIC MACROINVERTEBRATE DATA WERE COLLECTED FOR TWO STREAMS IN THE PARK FOR THE PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE TWO PARAMETERS THAT WOULD PROVIDE A HOLISTIC ASSESSMENT OF AQUATIC RESOURCES IN THE TWO STREAMS. DATA COLLECTION WAS FOR THE LONGTERM ECOLOGICAL MONITORING SYSTEM (EMS) AND WAS CONDUCTED BY BORIS KONDRATIEFF OF THE ENTOMOLOGY DEPARTMENT AT COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY IN FORT COLLINS CO 80525 (TEL. 9704917314).
