| MonitoringLocationDescriptionText | Oak Tree Spring is located in Juniper Canyon on the west side of Pinnacles National Monument, CA. The spring is located about 1600 feet southeast from the trail head near the Chaparral Ranger Station and 155 feet northwest from where the trail crosses the stream. An old concrete spring cistern (approximately 6 feet X 6 feet X 4 feet) built by the Civilian Conservation Corps is located in dense brush about 30 feet east from the trail. When sampled, the spring cistern flowed through a 1.25inch pipe to the land surface. The USGS Site ID is 363028121105801and is named OAK TREE SPRING. |
