THIS SITE IS OUTSIDE OF THE PETROGLYPH NATIONAL MONUMENT (PETR) BOUNDARY BUT IS WITHIN A 10 MILE RADIUS OF PETR. THE DATA ARE FROM A REPORT BY LOUIS J. BJORKLUND AND BRUCE W. MAXWELL; "AVAILABILITY OF GROUND WATER IN THE ALBUQUERQUE AREA; BERNALILLO AND SANDOVAL COUNTIES; NEW MEXICO;" 1961. THIS REPORT WAS PREPARED BY THE U.S.G.S. IN COOPERATION WITH THE STATE ENGINEER OF NEW MEXICO AND THE CITY OF ALBUQUERQUE. THE STUDY WAS DONE TO GATHER INFORMATION ABOUT THE WATER SOURCES FOR THE CITY AND ITS SURROUNDING AREAS.
