MonitoringLocationDescriptionText Pecos River Upper Reach is located a short distance downstream from the northern boundary of the park. It is accessed by crossing the river upstream of the Ranch House and taking the dirt track on river left to the next river crossing. The reach extends from the downstream end of a large pool adjacent to a small cottonwood tree on river left (stake on river left), upstream to the road crossing as it intersects the stream on river right (stake on river right). The reach is approximately 140m long, 11-13m wide, running from Upstream UTME: 439319.0 UTMN: 3933281.0 to Downstream UTME: 439230.0 UTMN: 3933280.0.
