The downstream extent of the reach begins approximately 120m downstream of the bridge at the end of a moderately sized pool, and extends upstream to approximately 20m past the bridge. The reach is approximately 140m long, 8-11m wide, running from Upstream UTME: 440110.0 UTMN: 3931394.0 to Downstream UTME: 440181.0 UTMN: 3931268.0. Cross-section stakes were placed on river left.
