MonitoringLocationDescriptionText Sample site located approx. 10m (30 ft) above mouth. River can be seen from site. Site is at downstream end of a steep bedrock riffle/shoal. Both banks are relatively steep silt, covered in moderately dense vegetation. There is a 12 in DBH ash tree on the right descending bank just upstream of site that has a lot of large exposed roots. There is a small rock outcrop at base of left descending bank. The substrate is bedrock with some gravel. The channel is <1 m (3 ft) wide. T29 R3 S9. UTM is 15 N 0652641, 4117790 (uncorrected). In 2017 this site was renamed Tufa Creek (OZAR_TR_TUFA); previously named OZAR_TR_NNTHOM and OZAR_TR_EDDYHL.
