There are a number of maple and sycamore saplings on a silt bank on the left descending bank. The substrate is gravel and cobble. There is a significant pool upstream and a large sycamore down across the channel downstream. There is a road and crossing further upstream along with some hayfields. The channel is <1 m (3 ft) wide.
