MonitoringLocationDescriptionText Site is 5 m (15 ft) downstream of road running on north bank of river. There is a large dead log imbedded into the left descending bank at the site. Both banks are vegetated silt. The substrate is gravel and cobble. The stream enters the high-water channel/slough approx. 40 m (120 ft) downstream of the sample site. The channel is <1 m (3 ft) wide. T29 R3 S14. UTM is 15 N 0655235, 4116632 (uncorrected). Note this stream is not named on the USGS topo map, the name Chute Hollow assigned by NPS staff.
