MonitoringLocationDescriptionText Site located 40 m (120 ft) upstream of road crossing to Hickory Landing Access. Low gravel bar with large root wad on right descending bank with left descending bank of soil with woody vegetative cover. Substrate is mix of sand, gravel and small to medium size cobble. Some patches of rooted aquatic vegetation. Site is located just downstream of the mouth of Hickory Hollow which has permanent flow. This site is located downstream of all known springs feeding the branch including; Bluff, Cave, Mud, and Sand Springs. 2017: There is a gravel bar between a Hickory Landing and Hickory Hollow.
