Spring orifice is located at base of small bluff and near base of large sycamore tree. Banks on both sides of spring branch are vegetated soil. Branch falls over a moss-covered rock outcropping into the river backwater. Discharge is measured at notch in rock outcropping while water is sampled at spring orifice.
