MonitoringLocationDescriptionText This is the uppermost of a trio of springs flowing into the Current River approximately 20 m downstream of Fire Hydrant Spring. This is also the largest (highest discharge) of the 3 springs. Spring originates in a small pool (5m x 5m) and flows through a short spring branch into the river. 'Boiling sand' can be seen most prominently at the bottom of this spring pool. Water quality sample and discharge estimates taken in the spring branch approximately 4 m downstream of spring pool.
