| MonitoringLocationDescriptionText | This is the middle in a trio of springs flowing into the Current River approximately 20 m downstream of Fire Hydrant Spring. This is second largest of the 3 springs. Spring flows out of the ground and flows a short distance as broad, shallow sheet of water, into the river. 'Boiling sand' can be seen at points near the spring orifice. The upper end of this spring is marked by a large pool/backwater. Water quality sample and discharge estimates taken from the broad sheet of water flowing into the river (approximately 4 m downstream of spring pool). |
