MonitoringLocationDescriptionText THE STATION IS LOCATED ON THE CAMP AUSTIN TNMORGAN CO. 7.5 MINUTE SERIES (TOPOGRAPHIC) QUADRANGLE. THE SITE IS LOCATED OUTSIDE OFTHE OBED WILD AND SCENIC RIVER (OBRI) BOUNDARIES AT CROOKED FORK CREEK NEAR THE HIGHWAY 27 BRIDGE AT STREAM MILE 6.5. DATA WERE COLLECTED AND ANALYZED AT THIS SITE FROM 1973 THROUGH 1974 BY JOHN RIDDLE; A GRADUATE STUDENT AT TENNESSEE TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY; USING A HACH KIT (DREL/2; MODEL NUMBER 250605). TEMPERATURE; DISSOLVED OXYGEN; AND PH WERE MEASURED IN THE FIELD; ALL OTHER MEASUREMENTS WERE TAKEN IMMEDIATELY UPON RETURN FROM THE FIELD. DATA WERE SUMMARIZED IN A FINAL REPORT TITLED "CUMBERLAND PLATEAU MUSKELLUNGE INVESTIGATION." FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT THE CHIEF OF RESOURCES AT OBRI; P.O.
