THE STATION IS ON A STREAM INSIDE THE BOUNDARY OF THE OBED WILD AND SCENIC RIVER. THE SITE IS AT THE MOUTH OF ROCK CREEK UPSTREAM OF NEMO BRIDGE. THE SITE IS SAMPLED FOR PH; CONDUCTIVITY; METALS; AND COLIFORMS. THE SAMPLING WAS BEGUN TO ENSURE THAT THE WILD AND SCENIC RIVER WAS PROTECTED AND PRESERVED AS MANDATED IN THE EARLY 1980'S.
