ABBOTT; A NATIONAL PARK SERVICE CONTRACTOR FROM THE BIOLOGY DEPARTMENT OF TENNESSEE TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY; CONDUCTED A 19791980 STUDY OF THE UPPER EMORY RIVER WATERSHED'S PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL WATER QUALITY CHARACTERISTICS TO HELP DETERMINE AND ASSESS VARIOUS POINT SOURCES OF POLLUTION. DATA ARE FROM THE STUDY'S FINAL REPORT TITLED "CHEMICAL AND BACTERIOLOGICAL EVALUATION; WATER QUALITY SURVEY OF THE OBED WILD AND SCENIC RIVER" (ABBOTT; 1982).
