| MonitoringLocationDescriptionText | Both branches of the Primrose Brook are spring fed and have their headwaters within the boundary of Morristown National Historical Park. The vegetation of the Primrose area is wooded with the dominant trees aged 20 to 60 years. Species include Chestnut, Hickory, Red Oak, White Oak and Black Oak. The rate of flow and depth of the water of the sites is variable and both branches of the Primrose Brook tend to be rocky with a sandy bottom. |
