| MonitoringLocationDescriptionText | Well is near the headwaters of the West Primrose Brook and is comprised of mixed hardwood and coniferous forest species with deciduous understory species. Areas of mowed turf adjacent to Grand Parade Road and trails within the vicinity of this site are used for walking domestic pets. Drainageways carrying runoff from Grand Parade Road were observed. The impervious surfaces of the Soldiers Huts parking area are topographically higher and will drain to the West Primrose Brook. A closed potable water well is located adjacent to the Soldiers¿ Huts parking area, northwest of sampling site. It supplied water to a public drinking water fountain and was closed by the park in 1995 due to high levels of fecal coliform. |
