MonitoringLocationDescriptionText Spruce Tree House Spring discharges from the Cliffhouse Sandstone and is located about 1,000 feet to the north of Spruce Tree House Ruin in Mesa Verde National Park. Water from the spring forms pools at the base of a rock wall. Water samples were pumped directly from the pools created by the spring. Wildlife use this spring as a water source and water samples provide information about the waterquality. There is a watertreatment facility located above this spring in the same drainage basin.
