| MonitoringLocationDescriptionText | Cattail Spring is located in Morefield Canyon in Mesa Verde National Park. Water merges diffusely from the Mancos Shale in the bottom of a broad section of the canyon. Water samples were pumped directly from small pools in the spring emergence zone. Wildlife use this spring as a water source and water samples provide information about the waterquality. There is a watertreatment facility located above this spring in the same drainage basin. |
