The spring is perched on Girkin Limestone and emerges into a sinkhole east of Mammoth Cave National Park. The spring owner reported the water has no taste. This was Palmer and Palmer's 1999 correspondence Site No. 3. Actual location was not known. The coordinates were at the cave entrance.
