LEWIS AND CLARK RIVER ORIGINATES IN FORESTED LAND SOUTH OF THE MEMORIAL; PASSES THROUGH THE MEMORIAL; AND THEN JOINS YOUNGS BAY. THE LOWER REACHES ARE INFLUENCED BY TIDES AND AFFECTED BY FARMS; DAIRIES; AND LOGGING.
