| MonitoringLocationDescriptionText | THE SITE IS LOCATED ON THE WARRENTON OREG.WASH. 7.5 MINUTE SERIES (TOPOGRAPHIC) QUADRANGLE; AT SOUTH BOUNDARY SLOUGH JUST OUTSIDE OF THE SOUTH BOUNDARY OF FORT CLATSOP NATIONAL MEMORIAL. THE SLOUGH ORIGINATES SOUTHWEST OF THE MEMORIAL; FLOWS THROUGH A WETLAND; BEAVER PONDS; AND A RANCH ADJACENT TO THE MEMORIAL. BEFORE DRAINING INTO THE LEWIS AND CLARK RIVER; THE CREEK FLOWS THROUGH A TIDE GATE AND UNDER FORT CLATSOP LOOP ROAD. SAMPLES ARE TAKEN NEAR THE CONFLUENCE WITH LEWIS AND CLARK RIVER.
