| MonitoringLocationDescriptionText | This station is located in Lassen Volcanic National Park on the Mt. Harkness CA 7.5 minute topographic quadrangle. Data were collected at this site by Paul M. Hubbell of Humboldt State University as part of a report "A Survey of General Ecological Conditions in a Group of Lakes in Lassen National Park 1960." All measurements are assumed to have been taken in the field. Juniper Lake is the largest lake within the park boundaries. Juniper Lake has a maximum depth of 234 feet located in the southeastern part of the lake. Water quality station 16 is located along the eastern shore of the lake. There are a number of small inlets flowing in from the north; east; and west sides of the lake.
