Data were collected by Fred H. Everest as Part II of a project by Humboldt State University. The water quality data are part of a report called "A Survey of Juniper Lake Lassen Volcanic National Park; JuneAugust 1964." Juniper Lake is the largest body of water within the park boundaries. The lake basin is deep and irregular and may be the result of either glacial or volcanic activity.
